How long does it take to complete Certified Human Resource Manager?

The Certified Human Resource Manager program takes approximately 25-30 hours to complete.

What is the passing score for the Certified Human Resource Manager exam?

The passing score for the Certified Human Resource Manager exam is 70% (70 out of 100 questions correct).

What is the CHRM certification?

The CHRM (Certified Human Resource Manager) is a professional certification from GAQM that validates competency across all HR management functions including recruitment, performance management, compensation, employee relations, HR analytics, and employment law. It is globally recognised in 150+ countries and delivered in GCC and MENA by Mentor Tech, an official GAQM channel partner.

Is CHRM HR certification worth it?

Yes. The CHRM is a vendor-neutral, globally recognised HR credential that opens doors to senior HR manager and HR business partner roles. In GCC markets, certified HR managers earn $60,000–$95,000 USD annually. For professionals in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, and Oman, CHRM certification directly supports career advancement in organisations navigating Saudisation, Emiratisation, and other nationalisation programmes.

How long does CHRM certification take?

The CHRM programme covers 9 modules requiring 25–30 hours of study. Most candidates prepare in 4–6 weeks of part-time study before sitting the 2-hour, 100-question online exam. The credential carries lifetime validity upon passing.

What is the salary of a certified HR manager in UAE or Qatar?

Certified HR managers (CHRM-holders) in the UAE typically earn between $65,000 and $90,000 USD annually. In Qatar, where multinational companies and government programmes drive high HR demand, salaries range from $60,000 to $95,000 USD. In Saudi Arabia, Saudisation requirements have elevated HR manager compensation further, with experienced CHRM-certified professionals earning above $95,000 USD in premium private-sector roles.

CHRM vs CIPD — which is better for GCC professionals?

Both are respected HR credentials. CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) is a UK-based qualification with strong recognition in GCC organisations with British corporate culture (banking, professional services, government). CHRM (GAQM) is a globally recognised, more affordable credential with faster completion time. CHRM is better suited for professionals seeking rapid certification to advance quickly; CIPD Level 5 or 7 is preferred by those targeting senior CHRO/VP roles in large multinationals. Many GCC HR professionals hold both over time.

Is CHRM certification recognised in Saudi Arabia?

Yes. The GAQM CHRM certification is recognised by employers across Saudi Arabia in both private and public sectors. Mentor Tech, as an official GAQM channel partner in the MENA region, delivers the CHRM programme to Saudi professionals seeking to formalise their HR expertise. The credential is particularly valuable for HR professionals managing Saudisation (Nitaqat) compliance, talent acquisition, and workforce nationalisation in Vision 2030-aligned organisations.

What is CHRM certification?

CHRM (Certified Human Resource Manager) is a GAQM-accredited HR certification covering eight domains: Strategic HR Management, Talent Acquisition, Human Resource Development, Compensation & Benefits, Employee & Labor Relations, HR Risk Management, HR Technology & Analytics, and HR Ethics. It is the most comprehensive GAQM HR credential and widely recognized across GCC and MENA markets.

How much does CHRM certification cost?

The CHRM exam fee through Mentor Tech is USD 210 (SAR 788 / AED 771 / EGP 10,290). There are no prerequisite courses required before registration. This makes CHRM significantly more affordable than CIPD Level 5 (GBP 1,500–2,500) with a much shorter preparation timeline.

Is CHRM better than CIPD?

CHRM and CIPD serve different markets. CHRM is better for GCC and MENA-based HR professionals: it is faster (4–6 weeks vs. 8–18 months), cheaper (USD 210 vs. GBP 1,500–2,500), has no experience prerequisites, and carries strong recognition with GCC employers who work with GAQM partners. CIPD is better for professionals targeting UK, Ireland, or Australian HR markets.

What is the pass rate for the CHRM exam?

The pass rate for CHRM at Mentor Tech is approximately 74% on first attempt. The exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions to be completed in 120 minutes with a 70% passing score. Scenario-based HR management questions are common — preparation should focus on understanding HR frameworks and how they apply to real situations, not just memorization.

What jobs can I get with CHRM certification?

CHRM certification is directly applicable to HR Manager, HR Business Partner, Talent Acquisition Manager, HR Generalist, People & Culture Manager, and Learning & Development Manager roles. In GCC markets with Saudization and Emiratization requirements, CHRM-certified professionals are actively sought for HR compliance and nationalization program management roles.

What is the CHRM salary in UAE and Saudi Arabia?

CHRM-certified HR Managers earn AED 117,600–220,200/year in UAE (USD 32,000–60,000) and SAR 105,000–195,000/year in Saudi Arabia (USD 28,000–52,000). HR Directors with CHRM and significant experience earn AED 220,000–400,000/year in UAE. The global average salary for CHRM-certified HR Managers is USD 70,000/year.
